What Alboria is

The online play these games had is gone. Alboria brings it back for playing with people you trust: your friends, your group, your community.

Your account is your email. You sign in with a 6-digit code that arrives at once, and each device is linked to it.

Rooms with a code

Create a party, share its code and your friends join. When your connections allow it you play directly; when not, through our relay.

Free forever

Playing online never costs anything. There will never be ads, and we will never sell your data. Everything works the same for everyone.

Games that are not ours

Ports: nothing paid, of any kind

In Gears of War 3 and in any other port there is nothing to buy: no subscriptions, no perks, no early versions, no special tags. Not in the game, not in the launcher, not in Alboria.

Our own games

They may have paid things

If we make games of our own some day, they may sell things inside that game and under its own name. Never online play, and never anything that shows in a port.

Want to help with the servers?

You can support us with a donation, one-off or monthly. It is voluntary and gives access to nothing: at most a cosmetic thank-you on the website, the forums or Discord, such as a badge or your name on the thanks page. It never shows in any port.

For developers

Making your own game and want online play?

If you develop a game of your own and want online play for it, write to us. Alboria gives your game accounts, rooms with a code, a relay and bans, ready to use.

  • Only for games that are yours. Alboria is not offered to ports or to games whose rights you do not hold.
  • A plan for the developer. Using Alboria in your game has a cost that we agree with you. Your players never pay to play online.
  • The same promises: no ads and no data sold, in your game too.
